Operate a hydraulic Bricker unit continuously all shift, which consist of manual loading. Each box must be carefully sorted and check for contaminants. Feasible enough wire is cut and hand toss into hopper, hit cycle start button to begin process of forming brick. Each brick is double check with magnet prior to loading onto pallet. Upon completion bricks are to be weighed and tagged, all information to be recorded on daily log.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-Responsible for operating unit in a safe manner, care of equipment, and work area include cleanliness and orderliness
-Responsible for all paperwork
-Responsible for sorting material from contaminants
-Responsible for keeping up all tooling
-Keeping various alloy separate
-Operate controls for Bricker
-Operate lift truck
-Cut wire to length
-Lift and stack bricks
-Perform quality checks
-Assist with casting as need
-Other duties as assigned

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to the hot humid conditions.
The employee is frequently exposed to hot metal and equipment, moving mechanical parts, and places requiring balance. The employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions, extreme cold and extreme heat.
Work is performed mostly inside of plant. When work is performed outside there is full exposure to the elements.
-Must be able to work a flexible schedule to accommodate business needs, including vacation coverage, overtime, emergency call in, weekend, and holiday work.
