This is a full-time position located in Willimantic to provide and coordinate services for tenants in Brick Row and the surrounding community. Brick Row is a supported housing project for people who are low income and may suffer from serious and prolonged mental illness and/or substance abuse problems. Many of these people were previously homeless. The case manager plays a critical role in assessing needs, developing and managing community service plans with tenants, and providing counseling.
We only consider applicants who meet the minimum educational and experience qualifications listed for a position. Because we value diversity and the ability to meet the needs of community residents, United Services pays higher starting salaries to employees who are fully fluent in Spanish and English.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. including one evening per week until 7:30 p.m.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in relevant human services field or Associate’s Degree in relevant human services field plus two years of relevant experience.
Salary Range: $14.62 – $16.54 per hour depending on experience
