Job Description: The construction field manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing concrete and masonry restoration projects in and around the DC, MD, VA area.
Work Environment: The B/W office for this company handles projects between Baltimore and Northern VA. The majority of their projects tend to be clustered in the DC/NOVA area. Projects will range in size and scope from smaller less than 3 week jobs to large $10M+ jobs that will last more than 2 years.
Some of the sites may include Gov't sites which would require a gov't background/site access check as well as valid registration and driver's license to get to the site. There is no site to site work during the day.
The company has around 150-200 field personnel at any given time and they are looking to grow/add staff for the next several weeks. Work is booked through the next couple years with no signs of things slowing anytime soon. The company offers ample room for training, advancement and growth for those that are open and interested.
The company is looking for superintendents, assistant superintendents, project managers, assistant project managers, project engineers, and foremen.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of related construction supervision experience in concrete/masonry restoration projects.
Ability to manage multiple crews of 3-4 field techs.
Safety orientated focus, if they have an OSHA 30 that would be plus but not required.
Bilingual plus, but not required.
Ability to do 2 week look ahead and scheduling.
Basic computer skills to include ability to use laptop and word, excel and outlook.
