Kleinfelder's growing San Jose, California office is seeking a Construction Materials Testing Technicians / Inspectors with DSA Masonry Certification to join our Southern Bay Area California team.

We have an immediate need for individuals with school and facilities inspection experience working under DSA requirements and additional certifications in reinforced concrete and soils.

The successful candidate will be an individual who excels as part of a dynamic team with strong communication skills (written and verbal) who is looking for the right team to continue building their career in the field of construction inspection and materials testing. Kleinfelder actively encourages and provides training with incentives for gaining additional certifications to expand our team's knowledge set in inspections and testing.

We're looking for a person with strong initiative, who will perform routine to complex inspection and testing of construction materials in the field and laboratory, in order to verify conformance to construction plans and specifications.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in the inspection and testing field.

Minimum Certifications include:

  • ICC Reinforced Concrete
  • ICC Structural Masonry
  • DSA Masonry Inspector
  • Nuclear Gauge Training and Soils testing experience

The successful candidate will be encouraged to expand their skills and certifications through company provided training and mentoring.

Must be able to use a tablet and have a general knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook software is required. Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record. Must be willing to travel throughout the Bay Area of California to meet client needs.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
