Description

Purpose: The Customer Service Representative facilitates internal and external customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

  • Enter customer information into the Mercury Gate system 
  • Monitor a dedicated group of customers by location; provide pickup and delivery information to customer
  • Answer internal and external customer inquiries in a timely, courteous, and professional manner 
  • Forwards load information to the Driver Manager 
  • Provides a customer follow up as needed
  • Maintain a knowledge of customer specific shipping volume and trends
  • Other duties as assigned

Perform routine duties with minimal supervision following standard practices and procedures; occasional check of work while in progress; work is reviewed upon completion.
