Purpose: The Customer Service Representative facilitates internal and external customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
- Enter customer information into the Mercury Gate system
- Monitor a dedicated group of customers by location; provide pickup and delivery information to customer
- Answer internal and external customer inquiries in a timely, courteous, and professional manner
- Forwards load information to the Driver Manager
- Provides a customer follow up as needed
- Maintain a knowledge of customer specific shipping volume and trends
- Other duties as assigned
Perform routine duties with minimal supervision following standard practices and procedures; occasional check of work while in progress; work is reviewed upon completion.
