You may be just the person we need.  We are currently seeking a Concrete Product Storage Specialist to work in our Quality Control department as part of our Design team. 

Position Description:  This Concrete Product Storage Specialist will be responsible for making sure that the manufacturing produced concrete products are properly handled and stored after being produced.  Employees are responsible for the daily inspection of all concrete products removed from forming and temporarily stored through the Finfrock Campus.  The employee will be responsible for documenting and publishing daily reports for the concrete products in storage.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Inspect product short-term dunnage locations for all pieces recently removed from production forming  
    • These locations may be next to the form or placed on trailers prior to movement to long-term storage
    • Verification that the short-term storage is in compliance with engineered specifications
  • Verifies location of product placement in long-term storage is per documented plan/location
    • Identifies/reports any deviations of this plan in the employee’s daily report
  • Checks for the accuracy of product dunnage layout and alignment versus engineered specifications
  • Inspects overall health of stored product while stored in long-term storage locations
  • Reports any unsafe conditions identified while inspecting the stored product
  • Verifies that the stored product has the proper unique product identification markings on it and that these markings are clear and visible
  • Records and submits a daily report that will be used by others to improve the overall quality and processes of product storage
  • Requires that proper recording, reporting and documentation is completed to conform to the Finfrock Plant-Quality-Safety Manual (PQSM) 
    • This includes the use and understanding of personal computers, handheld units connected through wireless networks, and standard filing systems
  • Responsible for employee safety in designated areas
    • Must participate in a safety training program which includes seminars and in-house certifications
    • Enforce safety guidelines conveyed to inspectors via safety manager and in-house training
  • Participate in cross-training program consisting of time spent in concrete manufacturing, erection, and quality/safety.
