Structural Utility workers will be prepping concrete beds for the pour. General concrete production will be required, and. Experience working with Rebar and concrete in a similar environment is ideal but not required.
Candidates must haves:
Experience in a heavy industrial environment, construction, or concrete.
Masonry or carpenter skills would also be helpful and applicable.
Candidates must read a tape measure and pass our test pre-interview.
Candidates must take and Pass their Judgement Index Test
PPE REQUIRED: Glasses, hard Hat, *Steel toe shoes, Ear plus, High visibility vest, Gloves, heat resistant gloves, Leather palm gloves, white cotton gloves, Latex gloves(for working with concrete).
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
Clean beds to prepare for Form setters using scrappers and brooms, Clean up beds and prepare headers, Collect scrap cables and clean up trash. Empty baskets and prepare items for form setters, Assist in oiling down beds, Maintain work area, Assist in concrete pours, Assist Form Setters as needed,
Team work is very important,
Must have the ability to jump up and down off of concrete forms, perform constant moving, bending, stooping, and pulling of materials and work a physically demanding schedule. Lift up to 50lbs.
Actively participate in companies 6S, Lean and Observation programs.
Concrete plant. Dirty, must be flexible for all general duties as well as operating. May train to do finishing.
May start as early as 2am some days, or as late as 7 am on other days. Must be flexible per construction schedule. All dependent on completion of work prior day and weather forecast to set daily schedules. Working 10-14 hour days depending.
